General artificial intelligence is different from narrow artificial intelligence because it is adaptable. General artificial intelligence is flexible because it learns how to carry out various tasks.
USES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The uses of Artificial Intelligence are everywhere. It can be used to ascertain what to buy from the internet, recognize things found in a picture, and detect spam and fraud. Artificial Intelligence can be applied to various fields such as aviation, computer science, public safety, education, finance, hospitals, etc.

Artificial intelligence is effective in handling jobs that can lead to an accident and is repetitive and they have proven effective. Artificial intelligence has improved greatly in the medical field. The use of scans and x-ray has been made possible by the use of artificial intelligence. Robots that serves as a companion to the elderly is made possible in the medical field by means of artificial intelligence. Dictation of HIV growth and the treatment of cancer by the means of chemotherapy has been achievable by means of artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence machines as mentioned earlier learn to carry out various tasks and multitask but how is that possible? This is possible because these machines are given a large amount of data which in turn it uses to perform certain tasks. These neurons transfer data to each other and are trained to take on a special task. During this training, weights placed on each input are varied until the desired output of the neural network is achieved.

While Apple Siri may have been in existence for a long time, Google assistance has taken over artificial intelligence because Google assistance has the ability to answer an unlimited range of questions. A lot of people believe that US technology giants are in control of the artificial intelligence field but that is not true. Chinese technology and industries like Alibaba and Lenovo are moving rapidly into the artificial intelligence field. Companies like Baidu have invested in producing cars that drive themselves.
